Frozen 2 - Disney Officially Announce The Sequel

Disney have announced that the studio will produce a sequel to its cultural phenomenon Frozen, which, as well as becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time, went on to dominate the world of merchandise, YouTube covers and children's imaginations...and a lot of adults imaginations as well to be fair.

"Since its release in November 2013, "Frozen" has become a juggernaut for Disney. It made nearly $1.3 billion at the global box office and generated a massive merchandising revenue stream. The film also won the Oscar for best animated feature. Because of that enormous success, a sequel has been widely expected." - CNBC

Disney have confirmed that Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will be returning to take charge of the project.
Bob Iger announced the sequel to shareholders and has surely got investors as excited as the fans.

"The news was announced at this morning’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders by Bob Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company; John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios; and actor Josh Gad (voice of Olaf and all-around cool dude)." - Disney

However if you can not wait for Frozen 2 to get your fix, Disney will treat you to
Frozen Fever which is screening with the release of their live action remake of Cinderella.

Cinderella and Frozen Fever hit UK theatres on March 27th
