movie updates: Sci-Fi By The Sea 3

The Bay Promo Team have been teasing some of the cool stuff that will be at this years Sci-Fi by the Sea.

Last years event was one of the best days out in the geek calendar and this years shall be no exception.

Doctor Who fans will be excited to know that the amazing 7th Doctor shall be in attendance.

Announced earlier today the Bay Team had this to say...

"Superb news! Sylvester McCoy, Seventh Doctor and star of Peter Jackson's blockbuster adaption of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, will be joining us as a guest, at Sci-Fi by the Sea 3 on Sunday 21st June.

Millions of viewers know him as "Doctor Who" in one of the best British sci-fi television shows of all time and millions more have seen him playing the much loved character of Radagast the Brown in The Hobbit movies, which recently rounded out with the third instalment, to much acclaim.

We're sure you'll agree Sylvester is a fantastic guest to add to the day and he's looking forward to meeting all his fans!" - Bay Promo Team

It wouldn't be a Sci-Fi event in 2015 if the Back to the Future Trilogy was not celebrated.

Arguably the coolest car in cinematic history shall be fluxing its way to the event.

"It's the 30th anniversary this year of where the fantastic Back To The Future Films started, so for your viewing pleasure we had to make sure a certain DeLorean was coming to Sci-fi By Sea on Sunday June 21st.

Many of you will have seen how quickly this event has grown in just a couple of years, and it may well reach a point this year where the event reaches full capacity well before event date. So if you are planning on making a day of it, please purchase your tickets nice and early - you have been warned!"
