2015 is lining up to be one of Hollywood's strongest years in a very long time, with new additions of the Star Wars, Jurassic Park & Avengers franchises it is going to be almost impossible to keep movie goers out of the Cinema. So I put the question to you;

Will Entourage be the best Movie of 2015?

I have been a huge fan of the HBO series since day one, with its mix of characters the shows elements appeal to most people in one way or another. Entourage which ran from 2004 to 2011 was dubbed Sex and the City for males, A Movie star and his lifelong friends running around Hollywood living the high life, every Man's dream right?

But being tagged as the Males Sex and the City I feel the show was served and injustice at the start, Just like the ITV's terrible marketing for Supernatural in the UK, The label singled out an entire sex. But as the seasons went on it became clear that Entourage's female fan base was growing.

Anyway, back to the Movie. Entourage was one of them shows that never grew tired and could have gone on for another 5 seasons easily. It gives me so much joy seeing Johnny Drama and Ari Gold back in the new trailer, the best part is that unlike certain TV Show Movies or Revivals, Entourage feels fresh and most of all a very welcome addition to 2015.

Now I would be a fool to say that it will be the best movie of 2015, Especially with Jurassic World dropping next year. But I will say now that it will definitely be up there in the Top 3, not Box Office but Films of the year!

Eric McCormack Interview (2014) - Perception ,Free Enterprise - #UKTVLive

At the UKTV Live event in London I got a chance to meet one of my favourite actors and have a chat about his current show Perception, which airs its 3rd season on Alibi in September, and ask about Free Enterprise one of the best Indie films of the 90's.

Most will recognise him as the lead character of Will from "Will&Grace" which was a great comedy series that ran for 8 seasons that most people I know watched and remember fondly.

More recently Eric has been playing Daniel Pierce in the hit ABC show Perception, which I highly recommend checking out.
I will be reviewing season 3 as it airs in the same way I am doing with Doctor Who season 8.

Also as mentioned "Free Enterprise" is a must watch film for anyone who is a fan of Kevin Smith, "Office Space" or "Fanboys".

The film will feature in my Top Ten Forgotten Rad 90's countdown later in the year.

David Bradley is starring in the upcoming Sci-fi horror series "The Strain" from producer Guillermo Del Toro which premiers September 17th on Watch in the UK. David told us what the show is about as well as his work in the Harry Potter Franchise & ITV's Broadchurch.

Rachael Leigh Cook Interview (2014) - Perception - #UKTVLive

With Season 3 of the fantastic Crime Solving Drama series “Perception” Premiering tonight in the UK on Alibi at 9pm, I got a chance to catch up again with the show’s star and last months podcast guest Rachael Leigh Cook.

Perception Season 3 will see FBI Agent Kate Moretti played by Rachael Leigh Cook teaming up once again with Neuroscientist Professor and Schizophrenic Dr Daniel Peirce, played by the wonderful Eric McCormack. Rachael Leigh Cook became part of the new millenniums “American Sweethearts” when she first hit the big screen in She’s All That in 1999, and has gone on to star in films such as Anti Trust, Get Carter, Josie and the Pussycats and Broken Kingdom.

Now as you may have heard on the podcast episode she was the guest on, I have always been a big fan of Rachael Leigh Cook ever since I first saw She’s All That in 1999. She was my Hollywood crush when I was 15 and still to this day looks as stunning as ever, so as you can imagine I was a little more nervous meeting here face to face than on the audio interview for the podcast but she was an absolute pleasure to talk to but the “Dreamweaver” sequence from Wayne’s World pretty much is a perfect example of how it began.

ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures have been commissioned by CITV to make a second series of Thunderbirds Are Go, the major new reinvention of the iconic children’s show, ahead of the premiere of series one.

CITV has ordered a second 26 x 30’ series of Thunderbirds Are Go to air in 2016 and 2017. The new children’s series is set to premiere on ITV and CITV in spring 2015, 50 years after the TV debut of the classic show.

This follows the news that ITV Studios Global Entertainment has pre-sold the series to international broadcasters including TVNZ in New Zealand, Australia’s Nine Network, Noga in Israel and pan-Arab broadcaster MBC.

Steve Green, EVP, Kids’ Content and Distribution at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said: “The unique mix of CGI animation and incredible model sets gives each episode ofThunderbirds Are Go a theatrical feel rarely seen in children’s TV that has generated huge interest globally. Having 52 episodes of this quality takes our discussions to a new level.”

Jamila Metran, Head of Programming for CITV, added: “"I am delighted to confirm that a second series of Thunderbirds Are Go has been commissioned for CITV. We are so excited for the launch of our reboot of the iconic children's show and look forward to bringing the adventures of the five Tracey brothers to our audiences in 2015.”

Featuring the world’s most famous family of heroes, International Rescue, Thunderbirds Are Go will see the five brave Tracy brothers piloting their incredible vehicles into impossible rescues across the globe.

The cast is led by Rosamund Pike (The World’s End, Gone Girl) as Lady Penelope and David Graham reprising his role as chauffeur and International Rescue agent Parker. Inventor Brains will be voiced by Kayvan Novak (Fonejacker, Facejacker). Tracy brothers Alan and Scott Tracy are both played by Rasmus Hardiker (Saxondale, Lead Balloon). David Menkin has been cast as both Virgil and Gordon Tracy. The fifth Tracy brother, John, will be played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Love Actually, Game of Thrones).

Thunderbirds Are Go is produced by ITV Studios and New Zealand-based Pukeko Pictures, in association with the world-famous Weta Workshop (Avatar, King Kong, The Lord of the Rings).

It is executive produced by Estelle Hughes for ITV Studios, Giles Ridge for ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) and Richard Taylor and Andrew Smith for Pukeko Pictures. The Head Writer is Rob Hoegee (Slugterra, Generator Rex, Teen Titans, League of Super Evil) and the Series Director is David Scott (LEGO Star Wars), with Theo Baynton (the WotWots) as Episodic Director. It was commissioned by Jamila Metran for CITV. ITV Studios Global Entertainment is the global distributor for the Thunderbirds Are Go television series and consumer products.

Christmas is just around the corner, which could only mean one thing for the Movie studios...Award season is close.

The last few days a number of "For your consideration" one sheets and image sets have started hitting the web and press, there have even been a few surprises such as Transformers: Age of Extinction asking to be considered for the Best Movie category. Today Sony Pictures & Entertainment One released a new UK Quad poster and Image set boasting the already critically acclaimed movies 3 Golden Globe nominations including Best Picture, Best Actor for Steve Carrell & Best Supporting Actor for Mark Ruffalo.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) - Latest News Trading Cards!!!

In a stroke of genius J.J. Abrams and Disney have begun the marketing push for the new Star Wars movie with a set of trading cards.

This is one of the most creative ways ever to promote a movie.

Entertainment Weekly showed off this nostalgic master stroke.

This takes fans back to the old skool days where you'd piece together a movie via trading cards in the months leading up to its theatrical release.

Once again this fan service shows that the franchise may be in the right hands.

San Andreas - First Look Trailer

Synopsis

The Strain - Season Finale "The Master" Preview

The season finale starts with a seemingly reborn Eldritch wondering the wreckage from Abe`s shop after the attack, joined by Eichorst who offers up some unwanted news.

The hooded vampires who have kidnapped Gus finally show themselves!

Eph and Vasiliy check out an old speak easy to try and flush out "Bolivar" thinking there maybe valuable Intel to be gained. As they descend deeper the pair come across more than Bolivar and friends but the daytime haunt of the master himself guarded by an unholy number of the infected.

Finally the time has come to assault the master head on. After breaking the first line of defence Abe begins the accent to the master, let the final battle begin.......and prepare to meet the ancients!!

Supernatural returns to UK screens in January!

Rejoice! UK fans of the show today were over the moon as Channel 4's sister channel E4 has picked up the hit US series for its 10th season.

UK fans earlier in the year were left heartbroken when ITV announced that along with a handful of other US shows, that it would no longer be showing Supernatural on its ITV2 channel. 

With social media a hub for spoilers and the temptation of torrents, it was no wonder UK fans started dwindling from tuning in on ITV2 as the seasons were airing over a year later than the US broadcasts.

Supernatural Season 10 is penned in to start on E4 in January 2015, which with the Mid-Season break will line up the later half of the season perfectly with the US broadcast. So UK fans can now enjoy the series the right way.

E4 has announced the recruitment of demon hunters Sam and Dean Winchester in an attempt to combat the supernatural forces which are expected to descend upon the channel in early 2015.

Christmas day is almost upon us.

Last week was the annual retail event that requires an Oliver Stone movie.
Yes Black Friday saw scenes more akin to "Platoon" than "Jingle all the Way".

Even though "Jingle all the Way" was probably a more horrific experience on the senses.

So with only a couple of weeks left to do that gift buying, what should you be looking to get the movie fan in your life this holiday season?

"Batman Returns" Batmobile cockpit prop!

"The Batmobile Insert Cockpit used in the making of Tim Burton's 1992 caped crusader sequel, Batman Returns. This piece is a studio process car used by production for interior shots taking place within Batman's spectacular Batmobile. Originally designed by Anton Furst, this process car was designed to help Tim Burton and his team obtain key shots of Batman within the cockpit. By removing the body of the vehicle, the cameras were able to get up close with Batman, the interior electronics, and gadgets within the vehicle. As such, only the interior of the cockpit and the back wall of the car were built for production, while the outer casing seen on the sides were added later to make the piece more presentable.

The dashboard inside the Batmobile can be screen matched in numerous scenes and is outfitted with numerous buttons and gauges that light up when powered by a 110 volt battery. While a few small dials and switches are now missing and the CD player and radio have been removed, the monitor screen is still intact.

The center console between the seats showcases the original throttle, console lights, and levers, and is framed by original vinyl upholstery. Most recognizable is the original steering wheel with Batman's signature logo in the center. Located over the cockpit is a removable roof, which granted director Tim Burton easy access into the vehicle.

While this rare piece remains largely original, a number of components were replaced or added in the years since the film was released. Sometime after production the seats were replaced (see photos) and panels were added to the sides and front of the process car to give the piece a presentable appearance. This piece is in good condition and is believed to be the only item of its kind in existence today."

Ok so this is freaking awesome but at £31,239.00 you would probably already have the real thing as you would have to be Bruce Wayne to afford this.

Terminator 2 Endoskeleton Arm

From Terminator 2: Judgment Day comes this exciting new licensed prop replica - the Endoskeleton Arm! This was first seen in the Cyberdyne break in scenes being recovered by John Connor, along with the Terminator Brain Chip.

This 1:1 scale replica was molded from an original screen used Endoskeleton arm, with the arm measuring 24´ tall. The Endoarm has been recreated using a variety of materials, including polystone, fiberglass, and metal, and is triple chrome plated so it is cold to the touch for a real metal feel. The base incorporates built-in blue LED uplighting for enhanced display options, and the piece comes complete with a clear acrylic cover - as it is first seen in the movie!

This is pretty sweet to have, especially since T2 is seemingly about to be erased from the Terminator canon as the new film veers off on a tangent creating an alternate 1984.

Time for the ultimate cross over!

Marty McFly must travel back in time to stop the butt heads at the studio changing the future.

The Terminator Genisys full trailer is finally here and as predicted it has blown peoples expectations away. With the spelling of "Genisys" the way it is, people were doubting the film from the get go, but just take a look at the trailer below and you will see that we are in for one kick ass action movie.

Frozen Fever to hit the Big Screen March 13 2015!

With "Frozen" becoming Disney's highest grossing movie of all time, its no surprise that a follow up story wouldn't be too far behind!

On March 13th 2015 "Frozen Fever", a brand new original short will debut before Disney's new live action Cinderella Movie Directed by Kenneth Branagh.

"Frozen Fever" will see all our favourite characters return as Elsa and Kristoff are planning a surprise party for Anna's birthday, but not all goes exactly to plan when Elsa's icy powers start getting out of control.

Last week, Elsa herself Idna Menzel let slip in an interview that a feature length sequel is in the works so don't expect Frozen to fade from the limelight any time soon!

Terminator Genisys - Watch the Trailer teaser here!

For the third time in just over a week, Movie geeks around the world are setting the internet on fire. This time over the teaser for the new Terminator film "Terminator Genisys"

It seems to be a new thing among studios to release a teaser for a trailer of a movie, but we can clearly see why they do it. Like with the recent Jurassic World teaser, we get a brief glimpse at what the Trailer and Movie looks and feels like, including the return of Arnie himself!
