- by Disney

In present-day Auradon, Ben, the teenaged son of King "Beast" and Queen Belle, is poised to take the throne. He offers a chance for redemption to the trouble-making teenaged descendants of defeated villains exiled to the remote Isle of the Lost. The villains' descendants have been granted permission to attend prep school in the kingdom with the Disney heroes' kids.

The Enfield Haunting - Sky Living

This is something amazing for me!
I grew up on Greenwood Ave (in a house not on the actual road...duh) just a road and a playing field away from the street...Green Street...this house was on!
This was a serious national news story back in 1977, but it was more serious to us on a local level!

I was only a kid, being born in 1981, when I was told the stories, but my family remembered the press coverage well; and my bastard Dad would play pranks on me!

I have watched numerous documentaries on this case and have always been fascinated by it, mostly because it was so close to home!

The Enfield Haunting is broadcast on 3rd of May at 9pm on Sky Living.

Jurassic World - 2015 Latest Trailer We Have a T-Rex!!!

Here she is!
The fans have been quietly praying for this moment for sometime!
As fans of Jurassic Park we have been pretty pleased with what we have seen so far from Colin Trevorrow and Universal...however there was just one little thing missing....
We get our first glimpse (very brief, but she's there and we know what that will mean) of everyone's favourite!

The Mutha Fudging T-Rex!!!

Ok so in my excitement I got carried away...but just knowing Rexy is there, and ready to throw down gave me goose bumps!
I know we knew the Rex was an attraction but by god just seeing a glimpse of her followed by all that action is enough to make any fanboy, who was there, harken back to 1993!

I remember having the trading cards which described each scene depicted on the back.
I remember sitting there in that little cinema on Jersey and covering my eyes, just knowing that Muldoon was about to get torn to shreds!
How much I would see...I did not know...yet the thrill of anticipation just got to me and I didn't fully see the attack scene without fingers blocking some of it till VHS!

Now today we get the epic trailer for Jurassic World and I for one am having the same reaction as back then!
I believe Dinosaurs are real! And they are totally pissed off!

The the lines "think this will scare the kids?" and "this will give the parents nightmares"
are less dialogue and more a marketing statement at this point!
It would appear that we have a true no holds barred family adventure that will scare and thrill in equal measures!

Jurassic World - 2015 Poster #3 - Latest from Colin Trevorrow

Colin Trevorrow just gave us the 3rd poster of the weekend for his upcoming summer blockbuster Jurassic World via his official Twitter feed @colintrevorrow; and it doesn't disappoint!
Oh and the new trailer drops tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

You can check out an interview with Colin below from out friends at www.jpforever.com

Lando - Star Wars Marvel Team Up

Some sweet news coming from Marvel.com today.

"Marvel.com: Why Lando Calrissian as the next character from the Star Wars galaxy to get some spotlight through Marvel?
Charles Soule: We actually spent a bunch of time talking about the next character to focus on, and Lando rose to the top of the list very quickly. I mean, based on what we see in the films, he seems to have a fascinating backstory—history with Han, he used to own the Millennium Falcon, etc.—but we never see any of it. He just appeared in an episode of “Rebels,” but beyond that, he’s really unexplored.
Another thing I like about him is that he gets a hero’s journey of his own in the movies. When we first see him in “The Empire Strikes Back,” he’s not exactly a shining knight. He sells his friends out to the Empire. Now, it’s all somewhat understandable, and he does his best to make things right, but still. He’s no Luke Skywalker.
But by the end of “Return of the Jedi,” he’s put all that behind him. He’s finally picked a side, and ends up destroying the second Death Star. I could also have skipped all that explanation and given you a two-word answer that would have been equally true: Lando’s cool." - marvel.com

More on Marvel.com: http://marvel.com/news/comics/24460/lando_calrissian_makes_his_way_to_marvel#ixzz3XaKcUp3G

Aside from this I would love to see Billy Dee back as Lando in the new movies!

But I am not here to pick on Nicholas Cage, no. BUT I am going to present you with some of the worst DVD cover photoshop to ever grace store shelves which seems to be a habit with every new Nicholas Cage movie...enjoy!

SPECTRE - 2015 - Poster and Trailer

Finally SPECTRE are back!

When Casino Royale hit the screen in 2006 I was expecting SPECTRE
to be the evil organisation behind all the schemes, I was disappointed.
Now it has built up to a point where it is actually more exciting they're back!

A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

When a few people saw the poster they thought of Steve McQueen from Bullittthen I think this, although Daniel Craig does have that McQueen look about him, is a reference to Live and Let Die.

 “THE X-FILES” RETURNS TO FOX

Emmy Award-winning Pop Culture Phenomenon
From Chris Carter Is Back as Six-Episode Event Series

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to Reprise Their Roles as
FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully

Thirteen years after the original series run, FOX has ordered the next mind-bending chapter of THE X-FILES, a thrilling, six-episode event series which will be helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson re-inhabiting their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. This marks the momentous return of the Emmy- and Golden Globe Award-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history.

The announcement was made today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs of Fox Television Group and Chris Carter, creator and executive producer of THE X-FILES. Production on THE X-FILES event series is set to begin in summer 2015. Further details remain under wraps and will be announced at a later date.

“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,” said Carter. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”

“We had the privilege of working with Chris on all nine seasons of THE X-FILES – one of the most rewarding creative experiences of our careers – and we couldn’t be more excited to explore that incredible world with him again,” remarked Newman and Walden. “THE X-FILES was not only a seminal show for both the studio and the network, it was a worldwide phenomenon that shaped pop culture – yet remained a true gem for the legions of fans who embraced it from the beginning. Few shows on television have drawn such dedicated fans as THE X-FILES, and we’re ecstatic to give them the next thrilling chapter of Mulder and Scully they’ve been waiting for.”

THE X-FILES originally premiered in September 1993.  Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

Produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Ten Thirteen Productions, THE X-FILES is created and executive-produced by Chris Carter.

PIXELS (2015) - Retro Gaming Fights Back

Coming to UK theatres August 12th 2015

I love and collect retro video games, or as I call them video games, as to me they are not retro, they are just my games!
Pixels has a similar premise to that episode of Futurama, where by classic video game characters invade Earth.
This is from SONY, and it is looking like a "What if the Ghostbusters had to fight 8-bit sprites instead of spirits!" kind of deal.

"In Pixels, when intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (Kevin James) has to call on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet. Joining them is Lt. Col. Violet Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan), a specialist supplying the arcaders with unique weapons to fight the aliens." - Sony Pictures Entertainment

LEGO Jurassic World - Trailer

Of all the games that have come out recently it is surprising that it has taken a toy from my childhood combined with a film from 1993 to make me want a "Next-Gen" system!
That is how amazing the LEGO revival has been and how enduring Jurassic Park's legacy is!

Harrison Ford Injured in a Plane Crash - Best Wishes

All of us at Beyond the Box Office hope that Harrison Ford is fine and this news has been over exaggerated.
If Harrison is injured we wish him a full and speedy recovery; and hope that this is nothing too serious in the long run!
All our best wishes to the man who has brought so much joy to our lives and his family!

"Santa Monica, California (CNN)Actor Harrison Ford was seriously injured Thursday after crash-landing a small plane on a golf course in California, Variety and NBC News reported.

Los Angeles Fire Department Assistant Chief Patrick Butler, who wouldn't name the patient, said the pilot suffered moderate trauma and was "alert and conscious" when he taken to the hospital.

He said the pilot, the only person on board, was in fair to moderate condition.

The plane hit a tree as it landed, officials said. It landed on its belly with the left wing touching the ground. There is a mark in the ground behind the plane where the aircraft sliced into the grass.

The 72-year-old actor was in a two-seat 1940s-era military trainer that went down on Penmar Golf Course near Santa Monica Airport, according to reports." - CNN

Fake Movies that are in Movies

Have you ever watched a movie with a fake movie/trailer promoted during it?
How many times have you sat there wishing you were watching the fake instead of the actually film on screen?
Well quiet a few times to be honest.

Some films are true classics and the added extras to their fictional Universe make them even better.
Such as Naked Gun: 33 1/3, the fictional movies, up for best picture during that "movies" fake Oscars climax, just made Frank's last outing even funnier.

However there are definitely some movies that you just wish the cut away would never end...mostly Adam Sandler movies.

Screen Junkies have put together a supercut of some of the best.
Watch out for South Park, Clerks II and try to guess the real movies that the fakes are from!

If you aren't already, which would be a shocking disgrace, subscribe to Screen Junkies for some of YouTube's best videos.

Terminator Genisys (20150 - Casting Mistakes

Pic Entertainment

Someone please explain why we got Jai Courtney as Kyle "bad-ass" Reese?

I am not being a dick to Jai Courtney, he's just not right for the role.
Think about Michael Biehn and the character Kyle Reese?
How cool was he?! Exactly!
Also in Aliens Hicks was a smooth, diligent, likeable character that you desperately wanted to win and survive!
Both characters are two of the best action protagonists of the 80's. This new Kyle Reese is going to suck worse than the movie overall!

Why did they not cast Joel McHale????

This guy is Kyle Reese!!!
Hollywood casting agents be damned!

The Atom - Arrow Season 3 - Sky

Rainer Wolfcastle: Up and at them.
Dialogue coach: No, "Up and atom".
Rainer Wolfcastle: Up and at them.
Dialogue coach: Up and *atom*.
Rainer Wolfcastle: Up and at them.
Dialogue coach: [frustrated] Better.

That scene from The Simpsons is still one of my favourite moments from the show, ever!

I am addicted to CW's Arrow, it's like having 20+ episodes of a Nolan Batman movie every season.
I am also one of the few people that loved Bryan Singer's Superman Returns.
I have stated on multiple occasions how the film gave me the closure on the Reeve's & Donner' cinematic universe.
I recognise and agree with the criticisms levelled at that film, yet I still like it.
Until recently, aside from an epic small role in Scott Pilgrim vs The World and Zack and Miri Make a Porno, it seemed that Brandon Routh had been another victim of the Superman Curse.
However, now with Arrow, it seems he could be on the verge of defining a character for himself, as opposed to doing a great Christopher Reeve impression.

Here's our first look at him as The Atom!

Now for a small screen show, this looks pretty damn good!
The best thing about Arrow, and it's fellow CW show The Flash, is the effort that the studio, producers, directors and cast put into making it feel bigger than a TV series.

The Atom is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Created by editor and co-plotter Julius Schwartz, writer Gardner Fox and penciler Gil Kane, he was one of the first superheroes of the Silver Age of comic books, debuting in Showcase # 34 (Oct. 1961).
Ray Palmer is the Atom, the Mighty Mite, a superhero with the ability to shrink to incredible sizes while retaining his full density, making him a formidable combatant. He was a member of the original Justice League of America, where he gained a great deal of respect from his peers. Aside from his crime-fighting career, he is also one of the world's top scientific minds, given his background as a brilliant physicist. He is capable of shrinking to subatomic sizes, and explores the universe on a frontier unknown to any other man. - DC Wiki

Now to re-watch that classic Simpsons scene!

Daredevil Coming to Netflix UK

Netflix, not satisfied with bringing down video rental giants like Blockbuster, are now well under way in expanding their library of online streaming content with original/exclusive productions.

Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard, of The Cabin in the Woods fame have collaborated to bring Matt Murdock to the screen for the first time since Ben Affleck's 2003 stinker.

Daredevil is set for a 13-episode season and thankfully will be available upon release in all countries serviced by Netflix.

Daredevil is a fictional character, a superhero that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with an unspecified amount of input from Jack Kirby, and first appeared in Daredevil #1 (April 1964).
Living in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, Matt Murdock is blinded by a radioactive substance that falls from an oncoming vehicle. While he no longer can see, the radioactive exposure heightens his remaining senses beyond normal human ability. His father, a boxer named Jack Murdock, supports him as he grows up, though Jack is later killed by gangsters after refusing to throw a fight. After donning a yellow and dark red, and later an all dark red costume, Matt seeks out revenge against his father's killers as the superhero Daredevil, fighting against his many enemies including Bullseye and the Kingpin. Daredevil's nickname is "the Man Without Fear".
While Daredevil had been home to the work of comic-book artists such as Everett, Kirby, Wally WoodJohn Romita, Sr., andGene Colan, among others, Frank Miller's influential tenure on the title in the early 1980s cemented the character as a popular and influential part of the Marvel Universe. Daredevil has since appeared in many various forms of media including several animated series, video games and merchandise, and the 2003 feature-length film Daredevil, where he was portrayed by Ben AffleckCharlie Cox will play Daredevil in Marvel's upcoming Daredevil live-action television series set to premier April 2015.
What can we expect from this new incarnation? Well it looks set to be a slower burn towards the iconic red suit and should be a solid adaptation for a contemporary audience, like how Arrow and The Flash have brought new DC Universe to the small screen.
